Angel Witch, one of the first NWOBHM bands, have finally disbanded but guitarist Kevin Heybourne is bouncing straight back with a new band called Blind Fury which according to new vocalist Lou Taylor will have a 'more commercial, vocal harmony sound'.

The band, who also feature drummer Steve Coleman and bassist Peter Gordelier, play their first gig at Catford Saxon Tavern on May 21.

Meanwhile, the final slab of vinyl from Angel Witch is likely to be a live album which is planned for release next month although no label details are yet available.
